Samsung has officially released the Galaxy Fit in the US. Samsung's latest fitness tracker was rolled out in several other countries earlier this month along with its cheapest brother, Galaxy Fit e. Apparently, Samsung has no plans to launch the latter in the US market. Both devices were announced back in February.

It's been quite some time since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fit. So, in case you need a feed, it boasts a 0.95-inch full-color AMOLED display with a resolution of 120 x 240 pixels. It houses a 120mAh battery, which is able to run the pack for up to seven days for normal use. The device runs on Samsung's new Realtime OS and comes with military-grade MIL-STD-810G hardness certification. It has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. Sensors on board include a heart rate sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer.


Regarding the features, you can get automatic detection of tracking activities such as walking, running, cycling, canoeing, and other vital workouts. The device is also able to monitor sleep cycle and stress levels. Galaxy Fit supports notifications from your connected smartphone, with options to respond via some pre-defined responses.
