For the Galaxy Note5 and especially the N920C and N920G models, new updates are on the way for your devices. These updates are still a part of both Samsung's Galaxy 5 security and Android security patch level to August 1, 2017.
In addition, the update will begin to hit the Galaxy Note 5 CM-N920C in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. While something similar will also happen to owners of the Galaxy Note 5cm-N920G in Latin America, and to select regions in Asia.

But then again, it's still going out on the update stages, so that basically means not everyone can get the update at the same time. If ever, you never received an update notification message, just do the manual method to check for an update.
How to update Galaxy Note 5 via over-the-air:
Make sure to fully charge the phone battery before starting the software update. This is a must and a very important part to get rid of some issues if ever software update was interrupted due to power failure.
From the Home screen, tap the Menu key> Settings> About device> Software updates> Check for updates.
If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now.
When the download is complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of the program is ready to be installed. Click Install Update.
The device will power down and restart power. A screen will appear stating that the installation has completed. Click OK.
One reboots the phone, it might go back again to Settings> About device to double check if you have successfully updated Galaxy Note 5.
