It's become a tradition, for your favorite music streaming service to show you how much music you've listened to this year, and your favorite artists, tracks, and genres. Spotify just released their "Wrapped" for 2021, which is very similar to what they did for 2020. It's a really nice visual representation of what I've listened to this year.
Here's how to find the Spotify Wrapped of 2021, as well as other available playlists you might want to add to your library.
What is Spotify Wrapped 2021?
What exactly is Spotify wrapped? Well, it's the year of the review that they give each user - free and premium. It's an annual feature that shows you your listening habits over the past year or so.
In 2020, Spotify started using an Instagram Story-like carousel to put your listening habits into perspective. View the songs you've listened to the most, your best artists, and even how many minutes you've spent listening this year. There are a lot of great metrics out there, but the one I love the most is the curated playlists that Spotify creates. Not only for your popular songs, but also for songs that are all over the country and the world.
How to find your Spotify file
As usual, Spotify Wrapped can only be found from the Spotify app on iPhone, iPad or Android devices. When you open the app, you should see a banner in the middle about Spotify Wrapped 2021. Just tap on that.
If not, you can search the search bar "Spotify: special: 2021" and that will take you to the Spotify Wrapped for 2021.
Here, you'll see a carousel that looks like an Instagram story showing you different music you've listened to this year. It will also show your listening habits.
Once you reach the last page, it will show you the top artists and the best songs you've listened to this year. Plus the number of minutes you listened to Spotify, and your favorite genre.
You can click the Share button at the bottom to share this on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Stories or anywhere.

How to add "Your Best Songs 2021" to your library
You will also need to add the "Your Top Songs 2021" playlist to your library. These are the top 100 songs you've listened to this year, and you'll be able to add them to your library quite easily.
As you scroll through the Instagram story-like carousel we talked about above, in the fifth story, you should see something that says you deserve a playlist as long as it's your skincare routine.
This will show you the playlist, and a button for "Add to Library". Simply click on this button, and it will be added to your library.
Alternatively, if you don't want to browse through this library, you can search for "Your Best Songs 2021" and it should be the first result.
What other playlists are on Spotify Wrapped 2021?
Spotify not only creates playlists for each user, but also other playlists for 2021 to help you find music that you may have missed or even forgotten.
On Spotify's homepage, you should see a new library that says "Best of Fresh Finds 2021", and it contains a number of different Fresh Finds playlists of different genres, including:
