Huawei ships devices with its new OS in October

Multiple Chinese sources today revealed that Huawei is ready to launch devices with HongMeng OS (expected to be called Ark OS for global markets) in October. The note comes from Guo Mingxi, an analyst at Tianfeng International, who revealed that Huawei will be ready to push out smartphones in the fall.

However, they will not be the flagship Mate 30 series, but they will likely be the entry-level phones for the Chinese market.

According to Global Times, the new OS was developed alongside Tencent representatives, and both Oppo and Vivo were present to test the new OS and found it to be 60% faster than Google's Android.

The main reason to roll out first in China is that the OS will not meet the requirements of the international audience, so Huawei has to scale it down a bit with the launch. Ultimately, when the Huawei ecosystem is developed, it will appear for global top-tier units, such as the final Mate 30 series and P40 series.

The analyst also predicted that despite the problems between the US and China, Huawei will be able to surpass 200 million milestones in shipments from 2018 and pay between 215 million and 225 million units, boosting it second place in the world, even if it had to comment. Its goal is to become the global leader.
