WhatsApp officially announced the suspension of whatsapp from working on old operating systems, which include Windows Phone 8.0, in addition to BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10, as of the first day of January 2018.
To clarify more, one of the officials within the WhatsApp company announced that the owners of these systems will not be able to create new accounts or activate any old accounts, but they can continue to use the application without being able to access new updates, and WhatsApp will be used on it while restricting some features and advantages in any Time.
The company added that it advises users to move to versions of Windows Phone 8.1 and higher, Android 4.0 and higher, or iPhone 7 and higher to be able to use all the features of the WhatsApp application without any restrictions mentioned.
