Samsung Galaxy A8 with Dual Camera Infinity Offers



Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8 + (2018) launched smartphones in South Korea. As rumored, both smartphones feature the dual selfie camera setup at the front and the Infinity Display design that was seen earlier on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + smartphones this year. There is no information on Indian launch and pricing yet.


The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a 5.6-inch screen, while the Galaxy A8 + (2018) displays a larger 6-inch screen. Both devices feature a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2220 * 1080 pixels with a longer aspect ratio of 18.5: 9. The high resolution also means this will be the first smart phone in the series to bring support for the Samsung Gear VR.


Both the A8 and A8 + smartphones are powered by an octa-core processor, however, the company has not revealed if it has a Snapdragon or Exynos chipset. The Galaxy A8 features 4GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB of storage options. The Galaxy A8 + comes in two variants, one with 4GB RAM / 32GB ROM and another with 6GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.






Both smartphones come with a 16-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It sports f / 1.9 aperture and can capture bokeh shots with Live Focus support. In addition, these devices feature a 16MP rear camera setup with a larger f / 1.7 aperture. The rear camera also supports video digital image stabilization (VDIS) and hyperlaps. Both phones sport a USB Type-C port and support fast charging.


The Galaxy A8 and A8 + are powered by 3000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries respectively and sports connectivity options such as NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST). Both smartphones are IP68 water resistant and sport the back only put the fingerprint scanner under the camera setup. It will be available in black, orchid gray, gold and blue colors options.
