PS4 games will be sold as of December 3





Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR sales have reached another milestone.


PlayStation 4 has now sold more than 70.6 million units worldwide through customers as of December 3, 2017, while PlayStation VR has more than 2 million units sold worldwide. Over 617.8 million copies of PS4 games and over 12.2. One million units of travel bonds sold as of December 3. This includes both retail and digital sales.


“I cannot thank our fans and partners enough,” said Andrew House, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. "Their support, since the launch of the first PlayStation in 1994, has helped make PlayStation one of the largest console gaming networks in the world."


Earlier this year in June, Sony revealed the PS4 exceeded 60 million units sold worldwide while more than 487.8 million copies of the PS4 were sold at the time. Sony also gave an update on Leveraged sales in June as well, confirming VR headsets have exceeded one million units sold worldwide with more than five million travel games sold as well.
