Apple announced the iMac Pro 14 for iMac Pro users


Apple finally announced when users can order the iMac Pro - its most powerful iMac. Unveiled for the first time at WWDC 2017 in June, it's the same Retina 5K display that is already available with the existing 27-inch iMac, but carries significant improvements including up to an 18-core CPU,




128GB RAM, 64 GPU. Apple will start ordering the iMac Pro in the US starting Thursday 14th December, with a base price of $ 4,999 (approximately Rs.3,22,400).


Unlike the original iMac variants that had quad-core processors, the iMac Pro is listed with 8-core, 10-core, 14-core, and 18-core Intel Xeon chips. The primary variant of the new iMac has 32GB of DRSK memory clocked at 2.6GHz. Additionally, there are 64GB and 128GB RAM capture options. The core 8 and 10 core models will go on sale from Thursday, with the upper core variants slated to be available later in 2018, 9to5Mac reports.


Apple has provided 1TB CD on the base variant of iMac Pro, and you can also choose to store 2TB or 4TB to suit your needs. In terms of graphics, the new Mac has the Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU that comes by default with 8GB of HBM2 memory on the base model, and the Radeon Pro Vigo 64GB will go with 16GB of HBM2 memory. Supports enhanced graphics iMac Pro supports Mac desktop dedicated to building native virtual reality experiences.


On the connectivity front, the iMac Pro includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, an SDXC card slot with US-II support, four USB 3 ports, four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, and an Ethernet port with support for data transfer up to 10GB. There is also Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v4.2 to enable high-end wireless connectivity. Moreover, the new iMac Pro comes in a grayish gray paint function that is not only limited to its display but also extends to the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and an optional Gray Gray Magic Trackpad 2.
