
Just over a week ago, an unannounced Huawei Nova 5i phone was spotted on Geekbench, and it also received regulatory certificates in two countries. Now, a new variant of Huawei Nova 5i has been seen on Geekbench that packs 6GB of RAM, compared to the 4GB of RAM that was present in its bottom variant that visited the benchmark recently. Huawei Nova 5i was caught running Android 9 Pie and it will reportedly be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC.
The 6GB Huawei Nova 5i variant, which carries the model number "HUAWEI GLK-LX2", was discovered on Geekbench, courtesy of in two separate lists under the same model number. The phone scored 1516 and 1530 in the single-core Geekbench test, and scored 5193 and 5233 in the multi-core test on every run. According to the Geekbench database, the phone packs an octa-core PSC clocked at 1.71GHz, paired with 6GB of RAM.
As a reminder, another Huawei Nova 5i variant carrying the model number "HUAWEI GLK-LX3" was recently spotted processing the same octa-core processor registered at 1.71GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM. The new Geekbench listing for the phone indicates that the HUAWEI GLK-LX2 will be the top variant of the Huawei Nova 5i sports 6GB RAM, while the HUAWEI GLK-LX3 may be the base model that comes with 4GB of RAM.
Huawei's Nova series of phones usually made its international debut under the title "P Lite", and according to rumors, the Nova 5i will be launched in markets outside of China as Huawei P20 Lite. The Huawei Nova 5i tends to pack quad rear cameras and a 5.84-inch HD punch screen.
According to the NCC database, the Nova 5i will offer 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB, while there will be a USB Type-C port for charging and transferring files. There is no word on the Nova 5i official launch now.
