Samsung beats Huawei and Apple for faster download speeds



According to a report by OpenSignal spanning 40 countries and thousands of devices, Samsung phones have higher 4G LTE download speeds compared to Huawei and Apple.


Samsung devices were found faster in 14 markets, including the United States, where the device download speed was 8.2 Mbps compared to the iPhone, and Norway, where Samsung users were 12 Mbps faster compared to Huawei users, with a speed of 14 Mbps The second compared to iPhone users.


The Apple iPhones were the fastest in the UAE and Taiwan, with the iPhone being 14.7 Mbps and 8 Mbps faster than Samsung's competitors, respectively.



Users in Canada and Singapore recorded download speeds of 67.1 Mbps and 65.4 Mbps, ranking second and third behind South Korea.




And if we consider the breakdown of high, mid and low end devices (depending on which LTE classes they support), Samsung is a leader in the tier with global download speeds of 26.6 Mbps while Apple is the mid-tier leader with a download rate of 16.5 Mbps.
