
The Y12 has a 6.35-inch Halo FullView display with a resolution of 1544 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.3: 9. It is powered by the Helio P22 SoC and comes in two memory versions - 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB memory + 32 GB storage. Supports storage expansion up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Y12 comes with a triple-camera setup on the back: 13MP f / 2.2 main, 8MP f / 2.2 ultra-wide and 2MP f / 2.4 depth-sensing units. There is another 8-megapixel f / 1.8 unit on the front for taking selfies and video calls.
On the software side of things, the vivo Y12 runs the Funtouch OS 9 based on Android Pie.
The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and is offered in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red colors. It packs a 5000 mAh battery which charges via the microUSB port.
The 4GB RAM variant is already available for purchase in India through the company's official website and Amazon.in for INR 129,090 ($ 180 / € 160). There is no word on the availability of other markets.
