Samsung introduces The Wall Luxury

Samsung unveiled The Wall MicroLED TV at CES 2018. The standard TV, measuring 146 inches, was a commercial center screen. Samsung has followed this up by launching a more consumer-friendly 75-inch model and a 219-inch larger model than The Wall at CES 2019. The South Korean electronics giant is starting to make more progress now, with the launch of The Wall Luxury.

Wall Luxury will be available in a variety of customizable sizes, proportions and configurations, from 73 inches in 2K to 292 inches at 8K resolution next month. Despite its massive size, it is only 30mm deep and has a bezel-less design. Autonomous MicroLEDs have a lifetime of 100,000 hours, as Samsung claims. Users can leave Massive TV on when not watching it, as Ambient Mode can display a variety of digital framed art pieces.

The screen comes with an AI image quality engine, called Quantum Processor Flex, to bring in enhanced image quality. The engine uses AI upscaling and machine learning to improve image quality, regardless of the original source format. In addition, Quantum HDR promises high brightness of 2000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing the best viewing experience in its class.

The Wall Luxury comes with premium audio systems by either Harman Luxury Audio or Steinway Lyngdorf. Samsung is also collaborating with Control4, Crestron and Savant for home automation solutions, and Domotz, Ihiji and OrvC to provide remote monitoring capabilities. The company has not yet announced its pricing for the next generation of MicroLED units. You can imagine it would be cheap.
