TCL Communication recently revealed that it is preparing to further expand its product portfolio in 2018, in light of the successful launch of the award-winning BlackBerry KEYone phone and the recently launched BlackBerry Motion phone in select markets of the world.
This begins with the launch of the new bronze version of the BlackBerry KEYone phone, which supports two SIM cards - and is expected to be launched in select markets in Asia, Europe and the Middle East region during the first quarter of this year. More details will be published ahead of the launch date.
Alan Legion, Global General Manager of BlackBerry Mobile said: “Less than a year after the global launch of the all-new BlackBerry Mobil smartphones, we have seen remarkable interest thanks to the presence of 'BlackBerry' branded devices such as KEYone and Motion. After the new BlackBerry Mobile phones were available in more than 50 countries around the world, we now have the capacity and strong foundations to continue building on our portfolio during the new year, and this means that customers can expect to see at least two BlackBerry Mobile phones during the current year. ”
Alex Thurber, Senior Vice President and General Manager Mobility Solutions at BlackBerry, said: “BlackBerry Mobile phones are the most secure Android phones in the world because we consider security in every piece of software. Today we are very excited that TCL Communication has launched BlackBerry Motion with a high-performance battery and touchscreen display in the US market. In 2018, we will work closely with TCL Communication to launch the Android 8.0 Oreo release, with more security features and other features, to help enrich and expand the user experience for BlackBerry Mobile phones. ”
